How information is collected

The Quikbyte website only collects information when you choose to contact Quikbyte by email or when you use a linked third-party service. There is no built-in contact form or data collection service on the current website.

QuoteByte product storage

The current QuoteByte product is local-first for some records. It stores quote, customer and job records in your browser or device unless a future cloud version is introduced.

Clearing browser data, switching devices, or using private browsing can affect access to locally stored records. Use the export and backup tools provided while the prototype remains local-first.

Export and backup tools

Quotebyte provides user-controlled portability and backup tools such as JSON export/import and customer CSV import/export. These tools are for your own records and to move data when needed.

Third-party services

If third-party services are later used, such as Stripe, form providers, hosting, analytics, or email tools, those providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
